The smelllll!!! Yikes.
Here's Option 2, softened to be less negative but still informative: I really wanted to love this, but the scent didn't work for me. It has a strong, synthetic, chemical-like smell—similar to a cleaning product—and it lingers longer than I expected. I tried using it more than once over a few months, hoping it would grow on me, but it didn't. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it because of the scent.
