I'm finally getting my hair back!!!

I have protein sensitive 3b curls & it's really hard for me to find products I can use. I've lived in a very humid area all my life, and moved to a dry mountain town 3 years ago. I thought living in a dry climate was my answer to all my hair problems because my hair hates humidity (it frizzes terrib...

Huge disappointment

Looking for a solition to day 2-3 curls between washes to smooth frizz and reinvigorate. All this did was make me literally look like a greasy trash raccoon. I don't know if my curls are too fragile for this? But would not recommend for 2C-3B mix. Did not use a blow dry or curling iron after this (b...

Too Greasy

From Charleston

We are having a dryer than usual winter where I live, and I thought that I needed some extra help for my frizz this season. I use exclusively curl Smith products, but I would not buy this one again. My hair is not naturally greasy even after a week of not washing, but this makes my hair greasy. I've used other serums before that don't do that. This serum is REALLY thick and goes on thick even after I rub it into my hands. Most of this tube will end up in the trash.

I tried this product on dry hair to tame the frizz/flyaways. It made my hair so greasy! It was so bad I had to wash my hair and start over. I have fine but dense, low porosity hair with 1c/2a waves. Maybe its incompatible with my hair type? I will try one more time and update my review if I get better results.

Game changer

From The South

I have naturally curly (3c) hair that i never wear curly! I blowdry with round brush and use a flat iron and velcro rollers. I don't try to wear it pin straight, just smooth and more of a blow out look. i also live in the south where it is very humid in summer thru fall so I fight frizz all the time. As soon as I walk out the door it poofs up. Yes, like Monica from Friends! So i just came across this product and although it is not super humid here yet, I can tell this is going to be a game changer this summer! I used the tiniest amount on my dry styled hair this week and it was rainy out for days and guess what? Very minimal frizz! I also used Curlsmith shampoo and conditioner for the first time (core strength) but I don't think it had anything to do with less frizz. This serum is unlike most which contain dimethicone (silicone), so maybe that's why this worked so well! I am a big fan of this product and plan on this being my holy grail this summer!

Looking for a solition to day 2-3 curls between washes to smooth frizz and reinvigorate. All this did was make me literally look like a greasy trash raccoon. I don't know if my curls are too fragile for this? But would not recommend for 2C-3B mix. Did not use a blow dry or curling iron after this (because that wasnt the point), so i don't know if that would help. Couldnt even get through the bottle. After owning for 2 years trying to make it work i just threw it out. Such a waste if money.
