What a blessing!

I did a lot of research before buying this on sale. The last facial sunscreen I tried burned my face. I still don't know what did it, as the individual ingrediants were all in other products I use. Anyways, I tried this. I'm not outside much, but wanted to anticipate the summer heat/humidity. I need...

not the best

i'm someone with very dry skin due to tretinoin, and i have super duper acne prone skin. i also have hyperpigmentation and slight redness, as well as textured skin. while this sunscreen didn't break me out, the formula is definitely not breathable imo. it pills up very easily if you have hair on you...

white cast

I liked the sunscreen texture. It was definitely oily skin friendly. It didn't feel greasy. It did not peel for me. I also left it on for 5 mins to dry down before I used any makeup. it definitely left a white/green cast on my face no matter how much I tried to blend it into my skin. Because of that reason I would only wear this sunscreen when wearing makeup. It would have been nice to be able to wear it on days when I don't wear any or minimal makeup. I guess if you have fair oily skin this might be a good option for you. I don't recommend for anyone who has melanin to their skin.

Got burned

I had liked this product initially when I used travel sizes a few years ago so when I was out of mineral face sunscreen, I bought the large tube for travel. For the first time in many years, I actually got burned on my nose while wearing this sunscreen! I did apply at least four pumps to face and neck. Plus it left a white cast that peeled some after being on my skin for awhile and I'm very fair. Give this one a miss.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

definitely good for oil skin

I don't usually write comments but I have really bought this product for so many times and recommended to my family and friends. This sunscreen feels so lightweight and it can actually help control oil. It's the best mineral sunscreen I've ever used, since usually mineral sunscreens are oily but this one is not. It will brighten up the skin a little bit when first applied. 100% satisfied.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

The best sunscreen

The best sunscreen I've used! Works well under makeup and actually works nicely as a primer. Love the green cast as it helps with redness. I love that it is fragrance free and it works well with my sensitive skin. Doesn't pill or feel greasy at all. I absolutely love the texture.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Best face sunscreen I've tried

Submitted 2 months ago

By Alli

From Minneapolis, MN

I've wasted so much cash on so many different brands of face sunscreen, all of which advertised that they were safe for sensitive and/or acne-prone skin. This is the first one I've tried that's lived up to those claims! I have fair, combination, sensitive, and cystic acne-prone skin and I've used this many days in a row without any negative side effects. I felt like my skin was still able to breathe, while also feeling adequately protected. I'm grateful that it does not have any fragrance or odor. Immediately upon application, it did have a slight cast to it, but it faded within the first 5 minutes or so. One caveat to my glowing review is that I haven't tried this under makeup yet, so I can't attest to whether it pills under other products or not.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
