The gel is nondrying and drys quickly. But it did not provide much hold. If you are going for a loose effortless style, this product will work well. My only complaint is that the gel smells a little odd. There is a lot of alcohol and since it does not contain a fragrance, there's nothing to cover up the smell. It does fade when drying but id unpleasant.
Pleasantly surprised! I haven't used gel in years.
