First Milk is love/hate situationship. If you're expecting a creamy, milky vanilla gourmand, this isn't it. The opening is sharp, woody, almost dry sandalwood with a faint pickled edge it can be jarring at first. I almost gave up after the first spray, but letting it sit fo days and re-spraying help...

milky, comforting, and addicting!
I know all fragrance ads have words that evoke emotion, but this was the first one I've experienced that actually evoked the advertised "comforting" feeling on the first spray. I loveeee this scent! I blind bought this and it was so worth it! I love the milky, creamy vanilla, and the amber dry down. It's not a cupcake-y vanilla, it's more clean smelling so it's great for everyday wear. Also, the atomizer on this is lovely! Again, I have nothing like this in my collection at this price point. highly recommend, I think it's signature fragrance worthy!!

The best 'alternative' vanilla
I am a big vanilla fan, but getting a bit tired of everyone launching the same type of vanilla scent- I was looking for something a bit different. The scent opens clean and uplifting (pepper) but quickly settles into a delicious, sweet, tonka bean, almond milk musky scent on the skin. I love it on its own or layered with other fragrances. Also love Us from this brand!

I bought this fragrance about 6 months ago and absolutely fell in love and wear it everyday. It is initially peppery with a milkyness but fades into a creamy sandalwood vanilla. The lasting power is about 7-9 hours with no reapplication. If your someone that likes a gourmand but not in a sugary dessert way more in a comforting way you will love!
