I was really curious to try this because I love a glossy, dewy makeup look, and this definitely delivers on that. The gloss is INTENSE! It gives your skin an incredibly shiny, glass-like finish, and you can definitely see the difference as soon as you apply it. It almost feels like you're putting a very thin layer of glue on your skin, which actually makes sense because it gives the makeup something to really grip onto. I think this is one of those products where the weather makes a huge difference. Right now, with the heat and humidity, I personally don't love how glossy my face looks after applying it. My skin already gets shiny throughout the day because of the heat, so adding even more glow can sometimes make me feel like I look too oily rather than intentionally dewy. If you prefer a more natural or soft-matte finish during the summer, this may be a little too much. That being said, I can already tell this is going to become a go-to product for me during the winter. When the weather is cooler and my skin tends to look and feel drier, I think this will be perfect for creating that beautiful glass-skin effect while also helping my makeup stay in place. The slightly tacky texture really makes it feel like your makeup has something to hold onto, so I can see this being especially useful when you want your makeup to last longer without looking dry or flat. Overall, I definitely think this product does exactly what it claims to do. If you love an intense, glossy finish, you will probably love it. For me, it's more of a winter product because I don't want to look extremely shiny in this current heat, but I'm definitely keeping it in my routine for the colder months. I think it's going to be perfect for achieving that fresh, juicy, glass-skin look when the weather is actually on my side!

MAC Faceglass Hydrating Skin Gloss is my new favorite product for a dewy, glass-like skin look! I love when my skin has that fresh, glossy shine and this gives exactly the effect I'm looking for without feeling heavy or greasy. It provides 24-hour moisture and radiance and can be used under or over makeup. I especially love using it as a primer because it gives my makeup such a beautiful, smooth, luminous finish and helps it grip to the skin. It's also perfect for those no-makeup days when I just want my skin to look naturally healthy, plump, and glowing. The only thing I noticed is that it feels slightly tacky right after application, but once it settles and absorbs, my skin feels super soft, smooth, and hydrated. I actually don't mind the initial tackiness because the glass-like finish it leaves behind is so pretty! Definitely a new go-to addition to my skincare/makeup routine, especially for anyone who loves that radiant, glossy "glass skin" look. Smooths skin and goes on clear with a bit of shine. Moisturizing, and works well as a base or primer. Just be wary of how much to use, because it gets oily if you use too much.

It gives my skin a beautiful, healthy-looking glow without feeling too heavy or sticky. I also like that it adds a little extra hydration, so my skin looks fresh and more radiant.
