Love the eye shadow - hate the applicator
For at least the past 20 years I've bought my favorite eye shadow from CoverGirl. I love everything about it except the eye shadow applicator falls apart within a month. It's hard to find replacement tips that will fit into the compact. Time to up the glue game!

Why not more matte shades?
As a working woman over age 50, it's inappropriate for me to be wearing shimmery or glittery shades to work. CG, have you forgotten about us older ladies and our need for a matte finish that will not only fill in our wrinkles but make us look good?

I have worn Shimmering Sands as far back as I can remember. I have recommended this product to everyoone. I would receive compliments all of the time. I find that the product's quality is not the same. It seems to crumble. It seems the shades in the trio are not the same as they used to be. I may have to change brands.

Pink package - new formula - has glitter bits and is awful! Old (black case) formula was more of a frost shine vs glitter (more subtle sheen and better for daily use).
Please bring back CHAMPAGNE & the classics

It's really confusing why Covergirl discontinued beloved eyeshadow products like champagne, mink and French vanilla. Such an odd business decision to just stop making products people have been buying for years and replace them with new formulas and colors people don't like and want to purchase more than once. Disappointing. I've been using Covergirl eyeshadow (champagne specifically) for decades. I guess it's time to find a new shadow. Please, please, please bring back all the classic colors and products. Your customers will appreciate it tremendously.
