This a really great tinted balm. When I opened the product I was hesitant that you wouldn't even be able to tell I was wearing anything on my lips, but it gave the perfect pink sheen. It makes my lips feel really hydrated while wearing it. It isn't heavy or sticky. It gives the look of a gloss without your hair getting stuck on your lips when the wind blows. I've used this alone on days I want a more natural look, or layered with a matte lipstick to give it some sheen. The photos I've included are just bare lips with only the tinted balm. But any time after that it's like you never applied anything. I would be interested in trying another darker shade because maybe the color payoff / stain potential is nice. But the very light shades don't feel nice enough on the lips to where I'd reach for the sheer/no color shades over using vaseline. I ran out of my current lip balm and this item came at a perfect timing for me to try. I chose the Bare color without any tint. The texture was soft and glided smoothly onto my lips. It gave my lips a slight sheen without being too flashy. The lip balm was hydrating and I didn't need to keep reapplying it. The design is cute too.
