I received a sample of Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tinted Balm in the shade of "Bare Pink" and I first applied it for a date night with my husband. This shade is basically nude, there is no pigment, not even a pink color -- it applied like it was clear. It also isn't super hydrating, but it did leave my lips looking shiny after application. It was fine, but I prefer my lip products to either provide a color or a moisturizing factor, and this did neither. The packaging is very aesthetically beautiful. I am so happy with the Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tinted Balm in Bare Peony! This lip balm is very creamy and moisturizing. It gives a nice sheer and natural shine to your lips. The color is beautiful, bright, and looks very natural on my lips. I've noticed that this lip balm blends beautifully when it's used together with a lip liner. I appreciate how this balm gives me a natural no makeup look while enhancing my lips. This product to me is a perfect hybrid of a lipstick and a lip balm. I put this on in the morning and reapply after eating and drinking. By the end of the day my lips still feel moisturized! I love the packaging and how easy it is to open, close, and grip. I have dexterity issues and normally a lip product is hard for me to hold onto but with this lip balm I am able to grip and control the application with ease. I received this product for free from Bobbi Brown for testing and review purposes. My lips went from dry, hard and flaky to moisturized, soft and smooth with in 5 minutes. How is that possible? I have tried different kinds of lip balms and have never had this good of a result. I did get bare peony, which on my lips it translates as clear but on a white surface it's a very light shade. I didn't perceive any scent. The packaging is beautiful, heavy and feels luxurious.
