I was very excited to try my new Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tinted Balm. The color I tried was Bare Peony - cool vibrant pink. Don't let the color fool you! Once you on your lips, there is a very subtle tint of color, and your lips are instantly moisturized, and stay that way for hours. I love this tinted lip balm! It feels super hydrating, but not in a greasy way. It adds a great pop of color - which I especially love in the dreary cold weather! It find that lipstick dries out my lips in the winter when I already struggle with dry skin, so this is a great alternative. It's the perfect throw on and go lip product. One thing to note is that it doesn't last very long - maybe an hour (but it's not advertised as a long lasting color). I absolutely loved this product. The packaging is trendy and fit well in my purse--never accidentally opening through all the shuffling in my bag. I applied this product throughout the day and found it to be moisturizing with a glossy natural finish. It reminded me of a very smooth chapstick that looked like lip gloss with a slight tint which was perfect for every day wear and any occasion. If you are considering this purchase, DO IT! I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The color bare raspberry was the perfect my lips, but better shade (for my more pigmented lips). It has minimal to no scent / flavor, which I know a lot of people appreciate. And the moisturization level is the biggest wow factor. I almost exclusively use thicker lip protectants, especially in the winter time, but I have only been using this for the last couple weeks now. I don't know if I noticed much of a plumping effect, but my lips stay moisturize for the majority of the day which I feel is more important. The tent does wear off after some time, but the hydration lasts much longer. Will definitely be trying a new shade for fun soon! love the texture of this product. It keeps my lips hydrated and feeling great throughout the day. The shade I got is slightly too late so it looks more just like a shiny glass, but still works well for that. Four out of five stars because of the light color.
