I received Bobbi Brown Extra lip tinted balm in the color Bare Lotus for free for testing and review purposes. I applied it se f eral times throughout the day. I found it to be very moisturizing. It doesn have a deep pigmented color, however it looks good on with its sheer shine. I love that the color is very subtle and not over powering. I find the moisturizing qualities make me reach for this lip balm over and over again. If your desire is a high quality product that creates moisturizing and healing qualities this is it. You won't be disappointed.

Definitely a light tint that gives a kiss of color, the balm applies smoothly and color distribution is good. Decent color payoff for anyone who leans towards being pale/fair. Packaging is beautiful, however I found that this balm did a very poor job hydrating my lips even with significant application. The lack of an occlusive quality left my lips screaming for something to seal in moisture. I would not purchase this for myself at the steep price point. I received a sample of Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tinted Balm in the shade of "Bare Pink" and I first applied it for a date night with my husband. This shade is basically nude, there is no pigment, not even a pink color -- it applied like it was clear. It also isn't super hydrating, but it did leave my lips looking shiny after application. It was fine, but I prefer my lip products to either provide a color or a moisturizing factor, and this did neither. The packaging is very aesthetically beautiful.
