PREP: Cleanse and exfoliate to smooth and prep skin. It's OK to use an oil-free moisturizer prior to application but be sure to let it absorb so your skin is fully dry before applying the sunless tanner.
APPLICATION: Hold bottle upright and pump onto a self-tan mitt. Apply in long, sweeping motions. Use sparingly around ankles, knees and elbows. Wash hands after application. Let skin dry fully before getting dressed.
POST-APPLICATION: Allow 1, 2 or 3 hours before showering, depending on your desired tan level. Rinse your body with warm water only. Wait 8 hours before washing with soap.
MAINTENANCE: Keep skin moisturized for a longer-lasting tan.

New Look New Formula
Yes the Ulta Ultra Dark Tanning Mousse has a new look and sadly yes, it also has a new formula. I've been using the Ulta Ultra Dark Tanning Mousse for a long time. It disappeared for a while and now it's back but it is definitely not the same. The smell is not the same and the results are definitely not the same. It has serious orange under tones. I'm talking borderline Oompa Loompa. So disappointed! Luckily it doesn't stick around too long. In its absence I found Bali Body and love their ultra dark formula. They also have a deep violet one that I haven't tried yet. It is more expensive but the results are great and it lasts. So sorry Ulta, you messed this one up.
Great for the price!
I compared this to the jergen's deep bronze mouse because that's what I had before and they are a similar price. This one was hands down the winner! Went on darker, tanned darker, and had less of a self tanner smell. I'd definitely recommend it for a cheap option. I'll probably switch to a cleaner ingredient one, but can't beat the price.

For the price I didn't expect this to work as well as it did. No streaks and a nice natural color. The smell of it is not terrible l. It does have a slight tanner smell but I think every tanner is going to have that smell no matter what.it dried quickly and does not leave you feeling sticky

This stuff actually works. The application is a breeze with the self tanner mitt. I bought another brand and it was okay but messier. This doesn't dry as dark as it could, but also leaves room for error. It is all expensive but this is $ friendly.
I will not buy this product again. Produced no color at all.
