Smells bad
I disliked the smell of this product, smelled very chemically. Additionally, it didnt do anything for my hair, made it feel as though it was coated and kind of greasy. Definitely not soft. I love loreal products but this one i wouldnt recommend.

Makes your hair super soft and gets rid of frizz

For reference I have dyed (red) long fine hair that is full. So I bought this to try because it has bond repair properties and I was excited until I tried it for the first time on dry hair. The oil itself is a gel like texture that when it dry it feels coated and weighed down my hair which usually I don't mind but the coating was noticeable. I did start off with a small amount to ensure it wasn't just because of over application and the smell wasn't something I liked either as it smelled like perfumed alcohol. However, I found I got the best results and usage of this product as a pre wash treatment on my hair wash day. I applied enough to coat my ends and left it up in a chip for 2 in a half hours before I went about my usual wash routine and the end result was my hair was manageable and soft after. If you are considering getting/ already have this serum and it didn't work out for you on normal application try using it as a pre wash treatment if you are inclined to not want to add waste of unused product.
Works well even on fine hair
I have fine hair that is only getting weaker as I age. I stopped using conditioners every time I wash my hair because it would weigh it down and make it look greasy. I use this oil post wash on damp hair to lock in moisture and smoothness. It keeps my hair looking fresh for 3 days instead of just two. Highly recommended. You may need to experiment with the amount needed. Start with less!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Loved the way this product made my hair shine but didn't weigh it down or make it look greasy. The texture wasn't sticky, it was more jelly like. Smelled pretty good but not overwhelming.
