I want to start off by saying that nobody prompted this review, and I wasn't paid or compensated in any way to give this review. I found Babe Lash off a Google search, purchased in full with my own money, and wanted to share the results in hopes that it'll help fellow internet friends that find them...selves in a similar position as me. Being Asian and having short stubborn lashes, I developed an obsession with lash serums. I've tried a few out there but the only one that worked until now was Latisse. The serum by Babe Lash is my new favorite and, for me personally, works better than Latisse. I will continue to use this product for as long as I can. My experience with Latisse is mixed. I used Latisse for about a year and a half. It took about 6 months to see a difference and then I had monster-length lashes by the 1 year mark. It was very interesting because I felt like there was a lot of length but not a lot of volume. I also had a good number of eyelashes fall out continuously with Latisse. There'd be nights I'd go to erase my makeup and 3-5 lashes would fall out at once from one eye regardless of how gentle I was with my nightly regimen. Repeats of these events would leave certain spots of my eyelashes looking sparse. Anyways, the benefits of using Latisse came with a serious darkening under the eyes that worsened each day. I tried everything I could to combat dark under eyes including serums and creams, and even tried to dry the application before I closed my eyelids. Nothing helped. I was able to conceal it with make up for about a year and a half but it became unmanageable after that point. My under eyes got SO dark to the point my family members were concerned, and so I decided to discontinue the use of Latisse. I cannot stress enough how much I wanted Latisse to work out. That being said, it is of worth to note that the dark under eyes resolved themselves over time once I stopped using Latisse and was reversible. I honestly thought that no other serum would work for me, because all the ones I tried before Latisse didn't work. That plus the side effects of Latisse really put me off eyelash growth serums for a hot minute. Then one random night this summer, I saw a picture from the Latisse days that triggered an intensive search for another serum, which led me to the discovery of Babe Lash. I received the Babe Lash serum in the mail and started nightly use from July 17, 2020. It'll be 3 months next week but my lashes are noticeably long already- I didn't measure it exactly but I can tell that it's about twice the length and about 30% more voluminous. My lashes feel much tougher than when I was using Latisse. I can tell because I have been using waterproof mascara daily the past couple weeks (my current favorites are the Kiss Me Heroine Long and Curl mascara and the Lancome Hypnose waterproof mascara) to see how my lashes fare, and it's been really great with minimal fallout of lashes. I'm sure there will be some that fall out in the future at the end of their life cycle so I'm just hoping it doesn't leave larger sparse areas like I experienced with Latisse. Lastly, my under eye is good so far and I don't expect that will change since it's already been 3 months. There doesn't seem to be any side effects. In light of all of this, I ordered another 4 mL serum today (even though my current bottle will probably last me a couple more months) and decided to also purchase the conditioner. I can't wait for the package to arrive. Yay for Babe Lash!
