I've tried so many SPFs that leave a white cast or feel like a heavy mask, but this one is a total game-changer. It has this lightweight, watery essence texture that literally sinks into the skin in seconds. It gives me that "glass skin" glow without looking greasy, and it doesn't pill under my foundation. Since I live in Texas a sunscreen is a must for me. I have combination skin and most formulas either leave a heavy white cast or fail to provide enough hydration. D'Alba Vegan Essence Sunscreen has the excellent texture: dense enough to hydrate, but lightweight enough to breathe. No white cast and, no immediate 'sweating' feeling after application. If you struggle with sunscreens being either too drying or too heavy, this is the one.

I've been really impressed with the d'Alba Vegan Essence Sunscreen. It works very effectively and provides great protection without feeling heavy on the skin. I've been using the d'Alba UV Essence Waterfull+ and it's pretty nice overall. It feels super lightweight, more like a moisturizer, and doesn't leave a white cast. It gives a glowy, hydrated look, which I like, but might be a bit dewy for oily skin. Works well under makeup though. Not the strongest-feeling sunscreen, so I'd reapply if I'm outside a lot but good for everyday use
