Most Helpful Positive Review WHAT I THINK: I love WHAT I THINK: I love this product. EradiKate is a great quick-fix that I apply anytime a zit sneaks up on me. I see a near immediate reduction in redness and inflammation blemishes after use. I have combination skin with dry/sensitive cheeks and balanced skin on my t-zone. Hormonal acne will pop up on my chin from time to time, but otherwise my skin stays clear. I do find the product slightly drying, as is expected with any acne spot treatment that includes sulfur and salicylic acid, so I follow up the treatment with a moisturizing cream to rejuvenate the skin. HOW I USE IT: Using a clean q-tip, dip through the clear liquid (isopropyl alcohol to prevent the pink sediment from drying) and dot the pink sediment from the bottom of the bottle on any problem spots. Let the product dry (15min or overnight) and wash off using a gentle cleanser with soft, circular motions. The EradiKate label suggests use up to three times a day, but because it is drying for my skin I limit use to one application per day. Pro tip - If you find that the layer of isopropyl alcohol is evaporating faster than you can use the pink sediment, adding additional isopropyl alcohol can extend the lifetime of the product. My first bottle lasted me just over a year without drying out. ADDITIONAL USES: My mom had an irritating boil on her thigh. She treated the boil for four days with EradiKate and it completely went away. After her first day of use the pain associated with the boil went away. I have applied the treatment to my sister's bacne and noted reduction in redness and inflammation similar to when I use the product on facial blemishes. COMPARISON: A lot of information online compares the EradiKate spot treatment to a similar drying lotion, and after trying both I personally prefer the EradiKate formula even after considering any difference in cost. I prefer the higher intensity and higher concentration of sulfur in the EradiKate product to quickly reduce visibility and presence of blemishes. I have purchased the EradiKate spot treatment twice now at full price, and all opinions expressed are truthful and 100% my own.
Most Helpful Critical Review IT WORKS, but dries out your skin When I first got this product I LOVED it. After a few weeks I realized although it was clearing up my acne very fast (at night I had a blemish, and the next morning the swelling was down and there was only a scar left), it dried out my skin terribly. I found it a little difficult to use as it seemed all the liquid would come out, but the pasty pink stuff was usually separated from it, and the bottle says you shouldn't shake or try to mix it. After about a month I ended up with a jar full of paste, and no liquid. Now, if I need to use it, I'll stick a q-tip into the jar to get the product out, but it is not the way it is meant to be used. Although I love how quickly it reduced my blemishes, I did not like how severely it dried out my skin. Instead of concealing a pimple in the morning, I would literally have a face full of peeling dry skin. I'm very torn about this. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but it did work great for what it is meant to do.

I tried to use this. It smells horrible. It didn't work on any of my spots. I feel like it made it worse.
I bought this wanting to get the Mario B. One! 5

I'm glad I chose this one over MB one! This works right when you get the first signs of the pimple! I don't like the smell sometimes, but it does the job. I haven't had a pimple resurface on the same spot, so I was very please! I love using the product because you do not shake the bottle, you dip the q tip in, and pull it right out & you can see the clay forming! If you accidentally shake the bottle, let it sit for an hour so all the clay can settle down & the liquid above should be clear.

This product irritated my skin and did not improve my acne spots at all.

Mask Acne miracle 5
Demy from Los Angeles
I have never experienced so much acne before but once we started wearing masks, my skin has been super reactive. No matter what I do, my skin just hates being under a mask and I breakout often as I have to wear one for work. I've had this for one week and it's amazing how it effectively quiets flare ups! I notice a difference in the morning. It's the one and only thing that's worked for my mask acne so far.

Best Spot Treatment!! 5

I love this spot treatment! Whenever I get a horribly painful spot I use this at night and wash it off in the morning and the spot is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, less red and not painful!

I was first taken back by the "Do Not Shake" label on the bottle then I recalled the ingredients. Sulphur and yes, the smell of the product will remind you of its contents BUT ! so not let this pink powerhouse product fool you for one bit. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING and works overnight. At 54 I still fight the occasional hideous cystic acne flare up and this is my secret weapon. It has also greatly improved other problem areas on my face. I am so thrilled to of found this product. My advice, it wears on your face like calamine lotion does so use at nighttime and avoid a satin/silk pillowcase. I will buy this again and I highly recommend to all.

Ok I used the Clinique one also but that is BHA not bad. I see some reviews that dont like this one I am just making suggestions. Kate makes the sulfur version. I dont like the smell but if I have pimples popping up this is it. Please apply this after you do all your face regimen at night! There are steps into using this which is not disclosed. Also don't use it on open popped pimples already thats an open wound. Dont shake the bottle. Used a q tip and dip it in till you touch the pink sulfur and then spot. My friends I asked Kate Somerville customer service. I will never live without this product.

Picked this up after reading some reviews even though it is fairly expensive. I'm so glad I did and it's worth every penny. Beware it is drying HOWEVER it has blasted away by blemishes AND stopped new pimples in their tracks with less than the recommended applications. I have adult acne and tried many products over the years and found some decent products but this has become my my new holy grail! FYI, smell is unpleasant but it does what it says it does so totally worth it in my opinion.
Not a Cure, But Effective 3

Works great for those stubborn hormonal pimples and cystic zits that pop up during my monthly cycle. Doesn't always clear them up overnight, but it does reduce this size a lot. Have a had a few stubborn ones on my nose that were too deeply rooted and didn't respond to any treatment, not even this, but it worked well enough for the big ones for me to keep the two bottles I bought on sale. Worth trying out even with sensitive skin, but do a patch test first! It does have alcohol so the mild burning is the main downside.
Beware if you have sensitive skin!! 1

Looks like Caladryl but smells like rubbing alcohol. I applied it to 3 small places on my face and my face broke out severely, probably 10 times worse than it started out as. It had a reverse effect on me. I would be very cautious if you typically have sensitive skin.
I was skeptical at first 5

I only bought this because it was part of 21 Days of Beauty and I wasn't happy when it shows up and smelled like nothing but rubbing alcohol. However, I had one stray, cystic breakout out starting on my chin and I was desperate. I applied it before bed and the next day, no exaggeration, it was almost totally flat. It's still healing a few days later, but I skipped a whole week of unpleasantness. With that being said, I'm not saying I would put this all over my face. For spot-application though, I think it works great.
It works 5

I bought this on the 21 day beauty sale just to try it out. Due to wearing a mask for so long, I've started to get some acne (thought I outgrew that ages ago!). It has helped dry up what I have to where it's barely noticeable, and I haven't had any new breakouts, YAY!!!!
Works like magic 5

This stuff is amazing. I use it on a q tip as a spot treatment after cleansing and toning before bed, let it dry, then apply moisturizer. The moisturizer keeps my skin from becoming overly dry, and by morning I have no spots. If I use during the day, I apply to a spot before makeup or leave it on if it's covered by a mask. I've only experienced dryness on the healing zits themselves, probably due to moisturizing. I would not recommend smearing this over your whole face or you'll definitely be a flaky snakey a few hours later.

This was a huge NO for me. I have oily skin in the t zone area, and sometimes break out. I don't normally have sensitive skin, but the first time I used this, it made little welts form. These broke open, leaving red scabs on my face which still haven't healed after 5 days. Literally the worst product I've ever used.
ummm - Amazing! 5

Had my eye on this product for about a month. It came up in the 21 Days sale so purchased.
Fortuitous timing - my 41 yr old self was brewing a new cystic growth on nose. Product came in, I immediately applied before I went to bed. Unsightly visitor had been banished by the a.m.
Did have a slight bit of peeling at application site, but that was much easier to deal with than a red, swollen growth.

I use it every time a small pimple wants to pop out! Usually leave it on throughout the night and in the morning you can see the pimple diminishing.
This is my SOS go-to! 5

So sad that I'm into my 30's and still dealing with acne. Whenever I even feel the hint of a break out coming, a quick dab is usually enough to end it. It's been a literal godsend. A must-have!

This is a MUST have item for me at all times. Anytime I feel a blemish coming, I apply this with a clean cotton swab. It either eliminates the blemish or significantly speeds up the healing process.

This is very good for drying my pimples out. However, the smell does get to you after a while if you leave it on too long.
