Lifts Foundation

For reference, I have oily, acne-prone (but under control) skin and my skin tone leans light olive. The color of this was beautiful. These are my favorite tones for blush as I feel as it flatters my skin tone best. Now, the formula. In short, it lifts my makeup. Long story, I normally lean towards... light makeup, but I tried this with my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and it lifted in the cheek area AND left a my cheeks a patchy mess. It was not pretty. Previously, I'd normally only used this cream blush stick for no-makeup makeup days or days where I'm ONLY wearing a tinted moisturizer and not much else. It's decent for days like this where minimal makeup is needed, but not for much else. On its own or with a matte tinted moisturizer (this is what I use), the formula leans a bit drier at first, but since I have oily skin, a slight dew tends to develop over the day. I don't mind this and actually like a dew to the skin. Also, this WILL transfer. That's just the nature of cream products and the longevity isn't high, so keep that in mind. I normally just apply to add a flush of color and am running some errands to help me look a little more alive. All in all, I'd save your money as there are a lot of drugstore cream blushes that are comparable if not BETTER. If you want a good high-end cream blush I'd look elsewhere.
