Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Cocokind recommends using a pea-sized amount on each cheek, forehead, nose, and chin. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

If you like a very very moisturizing sunscreen
I bought this sunscreen for my bf because he started using curology and was in need of a sunscreen. I already use a few sunscreens but it's hard for him to apply the ones i have because he hates the feeling of having stuff on his face and also he has a beard so the minerals in the spf always catches...

Leaves a white cast. Not POC friendly
Really disappointed in this. I heard really good things from people about this sunscreen being good for POC but it leaves a white cast on my skin. I used the 1/4 teaspoon on my face/neck and while the white cast wasn't as bad as some mineral sunscreens it was still noticeable and I would not wear it...

Initial heavy finish
I have enjoyed cocokind's electrolyte line, thought I'd give their mineral sunscreen a try. I appreciate their formulation in avoiding silicone based ingredients but the initial finish of this sunscreen is way too heavy, heavy satin and white cast-y finish. I have to say it gets better with time, a hour after the heavy initial finish, it got better. I have decided I won't be putting up with this as there are always better choices. Wanted something that is comfortable right off the bat. This would be nice perhaps for the super dry and pale skin in a low humid condition.

as someone who hates sunscreen, but still terrified of the future of my skin haha, this is finally one I can put on and actually look forward to putting on. the smell isn't strong, it's lightweight and does not put a purple/white cast on my tan complexion, and my skin did not react to it. highly recommend for anyone who is guilty on skipping the spf because they hate sunscreen; this is your girl!
Do not Recommend
The bottle is small, it leaves the most terrible white cast. I am white, olive skin tone, the white cast does not blend in and takes a while to go away. If you're a person of color I would NOT recommend this product. It also burns around the eyes. It also dries quite fast so you don't have enough time to spread it around your face. Not worth the money there are better mineral sunscreens out there.

White cast leaving my skin with a pale, purple tint. My skin looks slightly greasy too. I expected a better mineral sunscreen for the price, other brands do it better for sure. Giving it 3 stars because it does it's job as a sunscreen

In fact, there are no standardized tests that can accurately determine if an ingredient will or will not clog your pores or cause breakouts. Skin health is completely individual and dependent on genetics and lifestyle choices, including skincare! Everyone's skin is different but I do hope you'll give our products a try for yourself. After rubbing it in, our formula leaves a soft finish.
