I tried the EcoTools Daily Brush Cleaner on my makeup brushes and was surprised at how effective it was at getting off residue without the use of water. terrible brush cleaner. leaves an oily coating on the brushes and it took deep cleaning with shampoo to get it clean. they were cleaner BEFORE I used this horrible brush cleaner!!! dont use!

Don't even do it…
I tried this a couple times because I bought the big bottle, and I hate to waste. But, this is a no. An absolute no. The smell is awful. It takes forever to dry down. I had to follow up with alcohol/soap and water, which completely ruins the reasoning of having this type of in between brush cleaner. It leaves a greasy residue that might look dry, but it will mess up your products (especially powders) if you dip the brush in the pan. Stick with cinema secrets or rubbing alcohol in a pinch.
Used once and never again
I used this product once and was immediately put off by the smell. It removed makeup product from my brushes, but left an oily residue and chemical like smell. I felt like I needed to purchase another brush cleaner to get it out, tried rinsing with water. Ended up throwing my brushes away and the rest of the bottle away.
DO NOT BUY!!!!
This product ruined all my makeup brushes. It literally made the brush haira FALL OUT. It disenegrated the glue in the brush. I HAD TO REPLACE EVERY BRUSH I USED THIS PRODUCT ON!!!!!!!
