When I got my hands on this powder I was extrmely excited to try it and well here's the story… I was doing my makeup and was late for a dinner date and well I got to setting my under eyes and all I saw was how patchy and dry it left my undereyes. It even flaked my under concealer off to the point where I had to redo my concealer. Second time using it: I didnt want to give up on the powder so I tried again… nope. I was running late so I had to walk out the door to work looking patching and flakey. Mind you. I'm a makeup artist. Third time: I tried a different technique. No primer just hydrated my face, and used all my dewy products and woah and behold it set my undereye area wonderfully. I was amazed and will try this again soon. Butttt still on the fence of returning it due to me not wanting to have to risk my makeup from being a mess due to the complexity of the product. I think this is made for the oily girls. So thats why I give this a 2 star review.
I am in love with this powder !!!!
I have tried just about every powder out there, I am 53 and live in extremely humid Florida , I dont like full face or heavy makeup its too hot but , I wanted something to set my tinted moisturizer and brighten my face without looking cakey and this pink powder is amazing!!!!! I will buy again and again , it blends out well and really makes under my eyes look set without bringing attention to fine lines or emphasizing my wrinkles. The pink color is not too much just right! I highly recommend if youre looking for something light that sets but doesnt look like you're wearing full face makeup. I have sensitive skin no breakouts !
My favorite setting powder!
I am in love with this setting powder. It looks so good over the foundation and concealer and it keeps my oily acne-prone skin in check all day. I use the bow and it matches my skin tone beautifully. Please keep making it! I want to keep buying your products!
Shade Change
As I've been getting older I started to notice my makeup not working as well as it used to, including powder. Somehow it's been difficult to find a powder that actually mattifies, and share matching seems harder too. This one mattified much better than most, and I loved the fine texture and feel of this powder. When I first bought this about 5 months ago the shade Veil was a perfect match! About a week ago I bought another one and it is now considerably darker and yellow toned. I'm not sure if they changed the formula/shades, have poor quality control/consistency, or I somehow got one that was mislabeled. The box, sticker on the container, and even item number all matched the one I purchased in February. Very disappointing 😭. I'm hoping it was some sort of error and not a change in the product. Also agree with other reviews about the poor packaging. It's a big container for very little product, and is awkward to use.
Stunning finish
I love the way this powder sets my makeup and looks on my skin. It doesn't empathize texture or pores. It's beautiful. The pink is intimidating at first, but I feel that it blends in well. I'm not a fan of the net. I find it difficult to get product.
