DO NOT PURCHASE!!! I was suckered by an employee to purchase this fornmy daughters curly hair. This mint one is the one recommended fornher curl pattern. It bends and caused hair breakage. Does not encourage curl pattern. On the contrary, it straightens the ends. I wish i had the packsging ...

I have type 2C hair and I typically only brush my hair when it's wet/has conditioner in it. This brush is awesome and has no signs of wear after quite a bit of use! I can see how it wouldn't be for everyone, especially if you don't use products to help and are trying to work out knots (which is a terrible idea!) I think the individual arms are a nice feature that keeps it from digging into the scalp.

This brush goes through my long curly hair with ease. The vents and movability help with brushing and styling.
Brush is Gentle on Tangles
This brush is gentle on tangles and is nice in the shower to work conditioner through your wet hair. It's all plastic and wont create mold in the shower and has a wide bristle pattern. The wider spaced softer bristles make it ideal for detangling but not for making hair shiny when dry brushing.

I really wanted to like this brush. Unfortunately, it just kept breaking my hair, didnt do what it was supposed too, and just over all isnt worth the money. Please save your money
