- Q
I've been told to avoid products with oil when I've had my lashes tinted. This says it extends lash tints, but it contains oil?
- Asked by pfish
- Official Answer By Blinc Inc - Brand EngageYes, Curling Tubing Primer does include small amounts of plant oils like castor oil and shea butter, however the formula is water-based and creates tubes that wrap around each lash. Once set, it doesn’t leave an oily film and removes easily with just warm water, so it’s safe to use after the first 24–48 hours of lash tint or lift aftercare. Lash artists warn against “oils” because heavy oils and oil-based removers can cause tints to fade. Our tubing technology works differently: it wraps and quenches each lash with ingredients that help protect and prolong the look of your salon results. If your artist gave you a strict no-oil policy or your tints tend to fade quickly, test it on one eye for a few days to compare results. Was this answer helpful to you
