Stringy Greasy Curls?
I was surprised to find this product was so highly rated because it doesn't seem to work well with my hair. I have curly and coily multicultural hair and I've been looking for a leave-in conditioner, so I gave this a try. Unfortunately the results were subpar. I felt like my curls were greasy and stringy after using this. This is a problem I've been having with other products as well. I've tried it with several combinations of other products, by itself, and on freshly shampooed hair vs second/third day hair. It doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Like I said, I've been having this problem with other products I've tried too, so it could be a problem with my hair or routine. Maybe it's an issue regarding porosity, too much moisture, too much protein, etc. curly hair can be complicated. But I'll keep doing research and trying different things until I can get my hair to look good.
