I love not your mother's products, but this specific product ended up leaving a painful red patch (with yellow goop, but that's not in the photo I will provide). I usually use the Tahitian gardenia & mango butter conditioner without issues but I ran out so I temporarily switched to this. While i definitely will not be re-purchasing this specific product, I will repurchase the original conditioner i mentioned (and all the other curl products like the mousse, leave in conditioner, curl cream, ect) I think that this could have been an unfortunate fluke as I have a sensitive scalp. Also my roots don't look curly but when I sleep close to my roots end up flattened, the rest of my hair is curly (that's not shown in the top angle of my head)

This made my hair smell so good!! The packing was effective in making sure to get every last drop! I would buy again because this made my hair so soft and silky and had my curls looking so refreshed!
Dried out my hair
This conditioner dried out my hair- was not silky in the shower and made my hair feel more tangled than it was before i got into the shower. This caused a lot of breakage when trying to comb after, which is ironic since this is a bonding conditioner. I have wavy, 2B hair… maybe meant for someone with coarser curls…but def not for all curl types.

It really hydrated my curls! I love how I emulsified it in my hands and it got foamy. It truly didnt strip my hair after rinsing and actually made my hair feel soft. It smells good and the bottle was easy to squeeze out product without wasting any. The value is affordable and always love what this brand comes out with.
