Flimsy wand
I got this to help curl my lashes. I have a decent length but they tend to be straight. This wand is so flimsy that just barely appling it to my lash caused it to kind of bounce & did nothing to help with curling. i love this mascara i use it as my first layer and it helps lengthen and separates my lashes before i do any other mascara! definitely a staple in my routine!!!

This is the only mascara that actually holds the curl in my lashes! Is actually the best for easy natural looking lash and pairs really well with other mascara when looking for a bolder look
This lash base is amazing
Love this lash base! Makes my lashes stay long all day! My lashes fall down a lot when i use non-waterproof mascara. Everytime i curl my lashes with a lash curler and use regular mascara thats not waterproof my lashes fall down and it smudges around my eyes, so i have to use waterproof mascaras so that doesn't happen. I hope essence doesn't discontinue this product like they have done with many others products. Its amazing and my lashes loves it and its also easy to take it off. It works for regular mascara and waterproof mascara which im obsessed using this product on both mascaras! Essence you better leave this product alone on the store counter please! Im gonna be upset if it discontinues! Its the best first lash base i've tried and better than any primer. I even use it alone and the color of the base isn't noticeable :D!

Does the job
I have stubborn lashes that rarely hold a curl, sometimes even with waterproof mascara. This stuff is magical. I don't think my natural lashes have ever looked so pretty! My lashes even held up after a night of skiing. However, i wasn't expecting it to be so hard to take off. I bought this because I want curled lashes without having to wear waterproof mascara. I knew it would be difficult to remove after how good they still looked after skiing. It's slightly easier to remove than most waterproof mascara, so ill keep it. Likely wont be an everyday use because of that, BUT definitely like it enough to use when im going into the office or a night out.
