I used this based on a recommendation from an Ulta employee. I wanted something that wouldn't leave my hair crunchy, and not make the curl even tighter, but a looser curl. For reference, I'm a 2c wave/curl. Bumble and Bumble is a brand you can count on again to deliver incredible and trustworthy products, time and time again. Their BB Curl defining cream does not disappoint. I was a bit worried because my curls/waves sometimes oddly do better without any product. This does exactly what is says "for moisturized, flexible curls with movement." It left my curls soft (no crunch), it smells incredible and they seem way more moisturized than letting them dry without any product. Once they did dry I did realize my curls were a tiny bit weighed down - I have very thick and heavy hair, but I prefer as much volume as possible. The product isn't sticky and I think next time I'll add the cream to my hair while dripping wet in the shower. I might need to add a bit more product next time as well. These curls are always trial and error with new products so I'll try again in a different way! This product would be great if you want less frizz and more moisturized soft curls. It's a 7/10 for me!

My daughter has curly hair and this defining cream is good. It made her hair very moist, and gives lots of movement I didn't like the smell and after it dries it doesn't look so shinny like when wet, but works pretty good!

If you're looking for soft, defined, and bouncy curls, you've found your product! I was struggling a lot with frizz, and this product really helped reduce it while further emphasizing my curls and adding a little bit of bounce to them. Your hair feels like you haven't used the product. Soft, silky with bounce. I'm totally sold.

Tried this curling cream on my daughter's 3B curly hair. I love the texture! I was able to work it into her damp hair nicely and it left her curls looking gorgeous. The next day, there was a lot of frizz and it needed to be completely redone. So I'd recommend this product for when you're styling to go out, not to sleep on. All in all, it's great for mornings when I need I can just wet and scrunch her hair and run out the door. But I'm still testing how long it would leave the curls looking good.
