Wrap hair in a microfiber towel to soak up excess watter. Apply this product to damp hair. My hair is down to my bra and I use approximately a bit less than a half dollar but bigger than a quarter. I rub it in my hand and then distribute evenly by colbing through my hair with my fingers and gatherin...g all of my hair in my hands similar to a ponytail and geently run my hands over my damp hair. I have naturally curly hair (3a high porosity, medium density and fine width-for all of you who are familiar w/ naturally curly website). Over the years I have tried hundreds of products from the cheapest I could find to 40 bucks a bottle. I always come back to this product though. I have had 3 friends try it (none of which who are into fixing their hair-I personally don't like to look like i licked a light socket so I use it everytime I wash my hair which is only twice/week) and I noticed improved frizz control in their hair as well-It wasn't just my imaginiation either. I thought I noticed a difference about a week after she bought it and asked if she was using it and she said yes (this was the first time she used it-again not big into her hair so took her a week before she used it). But she doesn't use it regularly so I notice when she doesn't use it. I looove this for fighting frizz and flyaways. It works great for when I wear my hair curly and when I flat iron it. Very noticeable when curly though. It pairs up great with the Curls Rock Amplifier which I love for curl definition. I am open to try any products that people recommend to me and if I see someone with nice curly hair -not light socket curls;) I ask her what products she uses and I may try them if I haven't already. There really isn't anything bad I have to say about Control Freak I highly recommend it! I advise playing around with it if you use other hair poducts. When I try a new product I substitute it for the one that I think it might be replacing and see if I notice any difference. For example I have tried using this as my first product on my hiar and i have tried using it 2nd as well. I t works better as the first product on my hair vs the 2nd product and I also one time tried combining Control Freak with the Curls rock at the same time and the was a BAD idea! the Curls rock and the Control freak do not mix well together at the same time apply them seperately!
