Most Helpful Positive Review Ear Nose Trimmers are noisy by design but this one
Ear and nose hair trimmers are one of my least favorite tools in the grooming universe. The idea of using a small tool with razor blades close to sensitive parts of your body while it makes a loud noise is not something that I usually look forward to doing. Conair Man sent me an ear and nose hair trimmer as part of their high-performance collection. I was apprehensive at first, to say the least. After opening the package and reading through the instructions, which were very simple to understand, I decided to give it a shot. The results of this trimmer are marginally better than other trimmers I have used in the past in terms of sound. The ear and nose trimmers that I've used in the past have been very loud and using them close to your ear can be very uncomfortable. This trimmer, while it is still noisy, is not as loud as others I have used. I still do not like putting a noise like this that close to my ear canal. What makes this clipper different from others, and in my opinion better, is that it is not only a little quieter but it is also a sturdier product. I like the weight of it; the way it feels. I also like that the head is easily removed for quick cleaning. That is a feature I have not seen on other clippers I've used in the past. If I had a choice of going back to the cheap trimmer that I used before or continuing to use this new trimmer from ConAir, I would hands-down use this new ConAir Man lithium-powered ear/nose trimmer. It is superior to the trimmer that I have used before. While ear and nose hair trimmers are nothing sexy or exciting, this trimmer does feel like a vast improvement over the trimmer that I've used in the past.
Most Helpful Critical Review requires too much clean up
Pros: I really like the size. Its easy to hold and would be easy to travel with. It did get rid of the nose hair, and it didnt pull. Cons: It doesnt have a vacuum, so you have to clean your nose after you use it. My current nose trimmer has a vacuum in it, so I dont have to use tissue or water or anything after, which is such an inconvenient step to this ConAir model. I wish it had a cap for travel. Im definitely going to lose or throw away the travel bag it came with, so I wish it had a simple cap that popped on to keep the trimmer part clean if I threw it in a travel bag. Ill probably use this for travel since I already have it but not for my regular use.

Works great in the nose, but is tough to put so near the ear because of the loud motor.
Instructions - for Battery Insert - Incorrect
Engineer - Writer from Washington, DC
1. The problem is with the INSTRUCTIONS for "Battery Insertion".
2. The Design and Assembly - is not the problem.
3. Instructions say to Insert the Battery with the "Positive Terminal Downward".
That would be correct IF you had the Handle & blade pointed Upward.
But if you have the Blade end pointing upward, the Battery will FALL OUT and
you would NOT BE ABLE TO SEE what you are doing.
It should read that the Positive Battery Terminal should be pointed towards the
Battery Compartment Cover.
4. I was tempted to insert the Battery in the way I described in Step 3, but reversing the
electrical polarity on devices can often burn them out.
I believed in the Instructions in order to not fry it and void my warranty.
5. I stand by my notes that the Instructions do NOT mention ON or OFF.
6. Yes it does seem that the noise is unnecessarily LOUD. But maybe that is
needed for the self-sharpening.
Confirm Ear/Nose Trimmer is the Best.

Good product for the price

My last ear and nose hair trimmer finally died after 30+ years. Looking for a new one I found many makers and models and settled on this one. It does what I need it to do (tickles my nose a bit!) and is easy to clean. The only drawback is it isn't rechargeable, but that really isn't a big deal. I would recommend this trimmer.

I'm very happy with this trimmer. It does the job with no discomfort, no pulling the hairs, and is very easy to use. It's an excellent product, well thought out, and easy to use. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, it's a great value.

I have purchased a multitude of trimmers in many brands and never totally satisfied cause they often don't have attachment that cut ear hair or nose completely without me cutting myself or a trimmer for under and around nose. The attachments the Conair comes with allow all these things. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
It will bring tears to your eyes...

...how quickly and brutally it removes nose hair, but it only stings for a second. No blood, and its been almost a month without any signs of new hair. Good for the ears as well, as long as you can put up with the sound of a chainsaw close to your head. I'm exaggerating a little bit, but I would buy it again.
Ehh, wouldn't get it.

Does cut some nose hair but not very efficiently. Also, it hurts when I use it to the point that I start tearing up.

Of all the trimmers I've purchased and tried over the best 20 plus years, this is by far the best yet. Sharp, well designed. Made with quality. And most important it DOES the job.

We have had many nose hair clippers. This, by far, is the absolute best one. It has rotary blades but they do not pull at all. No pain!
