Push the pump 2-3 times to dispense foam into the palm of hand and gently smooth over the skin to cleanse. Rinse thoroughly. For hard-to-remove makeup, use on dry face using dry hands. (For waterproof mascara, an eye makeup remover is recommended.)

Ugh. I really wanted to love this. The consistency of the foam is initially great, but I had hoped to use this like the Perfect Cleansing Oil and, oh my god, the burn in the eyes. If you're in need of something that takes off eye makeup, do not recommend it. The cleansing foam tends to leave a sticky feeling on the skin after rinsing, and I've noticed some new breakouts since its use (even after double cleansing). I think nothing compares to the OG Shiseido Perfect Cleansing Oil for makeup removal!

I purchased this cleanser after trying the Clarifying Cleansing Foam and finding it drying. This Microfoam is more gentle, not drying at all. Only bummer is I'm going thru this product much faster.
