Mix 1-part Wella Colorcharm color (sold separately) with 2-parts Wella Colorcharm Developer in a non-metal bowl.
Apply to the hair using your desired technique. Typically, starting at the roots, thoroughly distributing through lengths and ends.
Let the color develop for 20 minutes without heat.
Rinse the color out of the hair until water runs clear, shampoo and condition.

The 10 volume developer mixed with the clear color cream does help give a slight glossy shine to the hair. But if you have over colored dry hair you're not going to see much of an improvement, ...

Go lowest you can on developer to seal your cuticle. I love the quality and hair integrity I get from using this for hair tone and sealing purposes. It helps me get rid of brassy tones without going GRAY looking. I highly recommend

I've done a fair amount of damage to my hair with bleach, regretably so. However this developer, combined with the clear gloss was so gentle and added beautiful shine! This time, though, I ordered the 10 volume instead of the 20 volume I usually use, to use it with Wella Demi Colorcharm in clear. I absolutely loved both products. I mixed 2 parts Wella cream developer 10 volume with 1 part Wella Demi Colorcharm in shade clear in a mixing bowl and applied it to all of my hair with a brush, root to tip. I let the products develop for 20 minutes and rinsed, shampooed, conditioned, and styled as usual. The developer worked fast and efficiently. The creamy formula was easy to apply on to the hair. I loved the results both products gave me. My hair was left with so much shine and volume! It was like a reset for my hair. It feels unbelievably healthy! I will 100% be purchasing this developer again in 10 volume along with the Wella Demi Colorcharm in clear and recommending it to my friends! If you have dry, color-treated, fine, or "lifeless" hair and want shiny, beautiful, manageable hair with tons of volume… then these products are for you!

It's a great consistency, the smell isn't too strong, and it works well! I dyed it for my friend, she has level 9 light hair and I used a 10-vol machine to dye the pastel color on top. she likes it, lifting the brown a bit from the base color so it blends better with the colored parts. Product worth buying👍
