I loved this product a couple years ago and decided to repurchase it. I found that the price not only increased but the product was reformulated an renamed. I find that now it doesnt have the same slip that it used to, which was one of the best parts about detangling then deep conditioning with it. ...

I loved this product a couple years ago and decided to repurchase it. I found that the price not only increased but the product was reformulated an renamed. I find that now it doesnt have the same slip that it used to, which was one of the best parts about detangling then deep conditioning with it. Nonetheless It still leaves my 3c/4a hair fairly soft. For me this will probably be my last tiem repurchasing it though. Not enough bang for my buck.
Doesn't soften, detangle
My daughter has mixed hair, super curly, after applying the product on her hair didnt feel soft, i could not brish the strands.
Favorite for the Past 15 Years
I have alot of hair that's fine & 2c/3a curly. Been using this conditioner for years for daily & weekly deep conditioning. My hair has volume, and is healthy & strong. I use it on my scalp too and no more itching, sensitivity or dry feeling.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair is 3A/3B high porosity and my husband's is 4B/4C low porosity. Neither of us cared for this deep conditioner. It doesn't moisturize as much as the name suggests, and provides no slip for detangling. The smell is fine, more on the masculine side but nothing unpleasant. I would not buy again.
