I just use this on my thick wavy frizzy hair and I love the curls it gave me. My hair is curly/frizzy in the summer and indecisive waves in the winter that go frizzy and flat so I always end up straightening it in the colder months. I noticed another review saying this product didnt do anything for their medium porosity curls and had to speak up! My hair is medium density but fine texture, so my mostly 3A hair stretches out its curls very easily. I don't use this foam as a styling product on wash day, but it is one of my faves for refreshing my curls! I stumbled upon it while on a trip and bought it on a whim. Had to put it in my sister's checked luggage to get it home, because I didn't want to leave it behind! I will say, since it does contain coconut oil, it can be easy to go overboard with it and cause hair to look greasy. (Clarifying shampoo is your friend.) This foam is so lightweight, but has hydration and a bit of protein for definition, which is exactly what I need to keep my fine curls juicy in a dry climate. It doesn't have hold, so it should definitely be used in combination with a product that gives hold (ideally, like a gel or mousse without oils or humectants). Learn what ingredients do and find a gel or mousse that works for you to do what you want. There is no magical all in one product that will work for all curls…this foam is great at what it is meant to do. And it smells delicious!
