Morphe Cloudlight Soft Glow Veil Finishing Powder

I fell in love with this with my very first use! It gives your skin the most beautiful glow ever and unlike other setting powders, this makes my skin look like skin! Not just a matte flat surface. The main downside is that after a few hours it starts to make every imperfection on your face super obvious. Every bump, every pore looks 10x worse. Also when I take pictures with the flash on it makes you look SUPER greasy even you're not.

This is my new favorite product to finish my make up with a beautiful cloud like finish, I love the shades because there are perfect for every single one. It glides so perfectly on my scheme.

If youre on the fence about trying this powder out, just do it!! I swear you will not regret it. This brings so much life and brightness to back to my under-eyes after caking on concealer lol. Literally blurs any pore on sight, and is so light on top of your base. I cant rave about it enough!

I tried and returned several $75 powders, decided to give up on powder entirely, and then randomly touched this in-store while shopping for something else and liked the look and texture. I am blown away with the results! If your prep game is not good, this can wear down and look not great after a few hours, but if you're canvas prep and finish is good, the results of this powder are gorgeous. I have dry/combo skin and the wrong products will bring out every dry patch, cause parching and/or oiliness with makeup cracking and breaking down. That's not the powder's fault; it's a chemistry/balance problem. I have had to really intentionally watch out for drying alcohols and things like talc that dehydrate my skin. I'm leaving out some details, but my morning game is hypochlorous acid toner, a pearl peptide glaze, farmacy honey cloud moisturizer, eye cream, hourglass vanish primer, prada reveal foundation, ciele concealer, this gorgeous Morphe powder, and then pat mcgrath blurring setting spray. The finish on this is pearlescent, but it isnt sparkly or glittery in the least. Just subtle healthy glowy. It's not a highlighter. The light refracting particles in this mimic the translucence of natural skin, so the end reaukt looks healthy and natural, not makeup-y. I think this does what hourglass diffused light is meant to do, but seems more finely milled (I could be wrong…I have only looked at that powder in store, but generally avoid powder products because they don't agree with my dry skin). The packaging is meh…some of that is my affinity for high end products, so I really wish the compact was magnetic and a little leas chunky. But it is clean and minimalist so not the worst. And my other con is that its not working for me under eye. I don't think there is anything wrong with the formula causing this. I think its just that my under-eye area is very finicky and needs its own product to set without parching. (I will try hourglass loose and pat mcgrath blurring undereye powders for this). Especially at this price for such great results, I do not mind having to use a separate powder for my eyes. I wish I could rate this 4.5 stars…not giving 5 onky because I don't love the packaging and once i started using the product, discovered teeny pits from bubbles in the product just under the surface. Not a big deal, but not 5-star perfection…but very close.
