For a natural finish, you can apply this Covergirl powder directly onto the face. First, dip the puff - or a powder brush if you prefer - into the powder, tapping off any excess to avoid the coverage from being too heavy. Lightly buff the powder into the skin using the puff.
For an airbrushed effect and fuller coverage, first apply your Covergirl foundation of choice and finish off your look by using the loose powder to set your makeup. Follow the same steps as mentioned above to apply the powder, buffing more into the skin if desired.
Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison center/doctor if you feel unwell. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations.

A non-drying, talc-free, and cruelty-free setting powder
This powder is smooth, non-drying, and invisible on the skin. Don't pass on trying it because of the low ratings; many of them are for a different product. Highly recommend for dry and/or mature skin.
Bad reviews are for another product!
I don't know how it happened, but at least several dozen of the negative reviews (and possibly many more than that) are for a completely different product (a CoverGirl *pressed* powder foundation and NOT the CoverGirl Clean Invisible Loose Powder). I passed on this loose powder at first because of the overall negative rating. It had to be horrible. Then I tried it and wondered how could it have gotten such bad reviews? After looking at the Ulta app again I realized that many of the low ratings were for the other, above mentioned, product. This is probably a technical error; I doubt that such a large number of users would wander into the wrong review space. In short, I was very surprised by this setting powder. My skin is dryish, so I'm selective about powders and have tried many high-end and drugstore brands. This one is not cakey at all, but, as the name suggests, disappears into the skin and becomes stealthily invisible, having neither a flat, extremely matte finish nor a reflective shimmery, or shiny one. It is a natural, soft matte finish that disappears once applied. As for the shade, I used the Translucent Fair, so I can only speak for that one, but the color is undetectable on my fair skin. It wears smoothly and does not look or feel drying at all. Not only does CG Clean Invisible Loose powder get the job done, but it is also cruelty free and contains NO talc and fragrance. Finally, it is affordable, costing about 52¢ per gram at Ulta. I just hate to see this product get a bad reputation because of reviews intended for another product, so that is why I'm writing a review for it. I just hope this ends up in the right place!

Really love this! For a powder it isn't as cakey as I thought it would be on my skin. I do blend this with one of my liquid foundation and I haven't seen an issue at all.

I love how lightweight this setting powder is it doesn't feel heavy on my skin and while it does settle into fine lines it's not more than your average setting powder. I'd love the shade match as I really feel like I helped with the pigmentation under my eyes and it's super easy to remove with a cleansing bomb or your normal makeup removal steps.
