I have never tried a brush like this but extremely happy I did. It works well and detangles. Also the brusg is easy to clean hair out
Wouldn't recommend for 3C/4A Hair
As you can see in the title I have both 3C/4A Hair. The bristles are too short and actually doesnt touch my scalp for the most part. My hair is really thick and usually the denman paddle does a better job because the bristles are longer and less flexible. The tangle teezer just feels like im brushing over my hair instead of through it.

Pay attention to size
I guess I should have measured the size of my old brush before purchasing this one. It's nearly 2 inches shorter, and thus, very difficult to hold. My hand actually cramped up trying to hold the tiny handle, and the base is not weighted, which throws the balance of the brush off. I don't know if I can return a hairbrush, but I might try.
Detangling Fail

It would go through my hair without any issues. However, I have been noticing my hair knotting more and more in the back of my hair. I recently had part of my hair break off due to a knot (which has never happened to me ever). It wasn't until I used another brush that I realized that this brush was not detangling my hair the way it was advertised. I bought a new Wet Brush and immediately started getting out knots despite having used this brush earlier. I think this brush can be helpful if you have thinner hair but if you get knots in your hair or have thicker hair: buyer beware.
