Before you begin, shake all bottles well to mix pigments and formula.
- Prep: Trim and shape nails, push back cuticles, lightly buff, then cleanse with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
- Base: Apply a thin coat of GELement Base Coat to four fingers; cure 60 seconds. Repeat on thumb.
- Color: Apply 1 thin coat of GELement color to four fingers; cure 60 seconds. Repeat on thumb. Repeat step for a second coat of color.
- Top: Apply a thin coat of GELement No-Wipe Top Coat to four fingers; soft cure for 30 seconds to achieve optimum chrome adhesion. Repeat on thumb.
- Chrome: Lightly dip applicator into glazing powder, then rub over the nail in circular motions.
- Refine: Lightly buff the free edge with a fine-grit file; dust off excess.
- Seal: Apply a final layer of No-Wipe Top Coat to four fingers; cure 60 seconds. Repeat on thumb.
- Finish: Cleanse with 99% isopropyl alcohol, wash hands, apply Glow Up Nail & Cuticle Oil.

Lasts longer than from the professional nail salon
I love chrome nails. I had it done 2 different times at a professional nail salon and the chrome started to rub off or chip of in only a few days. So I bought 2 colors of this chrome powder to do myself at home. And it is lasting around 2 weeks when I do it myself at home. (Hmm at the salon, I did chrome over gel over dip and at home I am doing chrome over gel and no dip so maybe it is the dip causing the problem at the salon). But no matter. So much fun to do at home and I love the look!!
