It has a smooth application of an ethereal blue shimmer for the first swipe. The multidimensional pearls that reflect the light at every turn do give it a lilac/blue shift that is beautiful. It is buildable, with a second layer giving more opaque pigment, but if not done at the right stage of drying...

I did notice it fading after a few hours but I forgot a primer and have oily lids so it's likely to happen. The packaging is so cute and the wand is a great shape, easy to apply.

It goes on easy but doesn't last too long. My daughters use it as play make up, it's not something that I would wear.
