After shampooing with the Multiplying Volume Shampoo, apply from root to tip and massage into wet hair. Leave on for two to five minutes in the shower, then rinse out well. Air-dry or blow-dry.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I wasn't familiar with the Alterna brand prior to this, I was not sure what to expect. The scent wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't too strong or off-putting. The masque was thick enough to stay put, but not so thick that it was a pain to work throughout my hair. I left the masque on for several minutes while I was doing other parts of my shower, and when I rinsed it, my hair already felt smoother and healthier. Afterwards I air dried, and it is seriously so soft, and my scalp feels super clean and fresh. I'm not sure if I'm noticing more volume or not, but it's definitely not weighed down, and feels wonderful.

The mask and shampoo duo is what got my dad to have voluminous hair even days after he washed his hair. Right out of the shower you can already tell his thin hair has some lift. It looks best when blowdrying with heat but isnt completely necessary. New favorite product!

Made my ends feel hydrated and no complaints overall but I will stick to mousse and hairspray for volume.

The smell reminds me of my snail, mucin face wash… But if you're not used to it, it might be a strange smell for you; the bottles are very cute and easy to use… The thickness of the shampoo really coats and lathers your hair and the mask makes your hair immediately smooth and silky. It is probably by far my new favorite shampoo.
