Most Helpful Positive Review Absolutely love I actually originally bought the light one but upon receiving it, I realized how light it was... I'm light complex but not that light lol it could have been used as a powder foundation for me so if your ghostly light it would work for you but I exchanged it in store for the deep bronze which may I add isn't that deep so for deeper toned skinned or women of color I don't think this would work nor would I recommend unfortunately this product is for more light and medium tones. The smell of this product is amazing and it blends out so smoothly. Light is cool toned, Sunkissed is more orange and warm toned and deep is cool toned.
Most Helpful Critical Review Color Selection! This product makes me so mad. I want to use this product because I love the formula, the smell, and literally every beauty-blogger raves about this product. However, I can't because the color selection is horrible for women of color. Even with the two new colors they don't have a wide shade range, and it sucks. I'm not even that dark, but I can't use it because the color selection they have is literally my skin tone. I hate that brands exclude women of color while they're making their products, because we want to use these products that paler women can use. They always include the lighter shades for those women but never really think about the darker shades that people in the world need. Do better Physician's Formula so I can buy this amazing product!

I love the formula but it's so orange. I am fair complected so it was Hard For me to make this work, I can't use it as contour it ends up being an all over look. The texture is very buttery and I love that!

I use this to add a light contour around the outer edge of my face. I apply to the apples of my cheeks and blend upwards towards my temple and around my forehead for a natural-looking sun-kissed glow to my fair skin. It blends beautifully on liquid and cream foundation, and a little goes a long way. LOVE this product!

Was excited to try this since I've heard so many good things. I have very fair skin so I've struggled finding a nice cool/neutral bronzer. I purchased in the light shade and I honestly think this is the worst bronzer I've used! It looks completely orange on my fair skin--not a good look. It reminded me of Mac n cheese powder the few times I've tried using it. Wish I had returned it when I had the chance.

I tried this because I heard a lot of great things about it. Now it is a good product. It smells amazing, blends nicely and lasts. But to be completely honest, there's nothing special about this bronzer from any other bronzer. I'd recommend trying and maybe it will be your holy grail.

I have the original bronzer shade. This bronzer is fool-proof. It's soft and diffused to the point that you can't add too much of it, but not so soft that it doesn't show up. It gives a perfect tanned look without being too red/orange. And the smell is SO delicious! That being said, if you are sensitive to fragrance this product might not be for you. I've purchased this multiple times, and if I were only allowed one bronzer in my makeup kit, this would be it. The only downside is the bulky packaging.

I feel like it just sits on your skin like a layer and its noticeable, the smell is wonderful, a little too shimmery for me but thats my fault i should have tried the matte finish. its also very easy to break, mine came in the mail shgattered, they will be sending a replacement but i will be returning it.

They changed the formula and tint of the butter bronzer. I recently purchased this and returned it. The perfume smell is overboard and I believe it can't be good for your face. The bronzer doesn't show up on my skin even with layering.

I bought based on reviews but maybe I should have went with the regular bronzer. I got the light bronzer. I have very light skin so naturally I picked this one. the consistency was nice but the color was like a yellow orange on me. not very flattering on cool tone skin in my opinion. I won't reach for this. I use the tarte park Ave princess and it is worth every penny to me.

I really really like this bronzer! It smells great and it blends nicely. I am very fair and I got the shade "light bronze" and it works well for me. Great for simply adding color and warming up the face - I wanted something to give me a little warmth but because of my skin tone I didn't want to look orange. Very natural and it blends nicely with my Rare Beauty blush (which is liquid)

I've used this on and off throughout the years(I like to alternate products) and I always come back to this one. It smells so yummy, gives my face the perfect amount of color, and I love how multi-use it is. It can be used as a contour and a bronzer. I even use it on my eyes for less makeup days and it accentuates my features beautifully and is such a dream to apply. I will always come back to the Butter Bronzer.

I was a former ulta beauty employee I've tried so many bronzers you can think of nars, too faced, urban decay etc & this is the only one I pick up from my makeup kit, it's the perfect bronzer! Especially for summer I also use this on my clients and they also love it. I get a lot of compliments on this bronzer!

I like it better than the Lorac bronzer, which is saying something. Not chalky at all. Super natural. Doesn't emphasize texture. Buildable and smooth.

This bronzer is creamy and gives a nice, natural healthy tint .I don't really contour but I do use it along my hairline and cheeks(light "3" motion) but I HATE the brush/sponge thing it comes with . I just use a regular fluffy brush to apply and it blends right in with my foundation .

Okay, I am new to bronzer. Tried a few then found this one that took me to bronzer heaven! I am very fair and foundation washes me out. The light shade gives me a warm sun kissed look without being orange! And holy cow, this blends so easily!! I love it!
