Prep nails.
Lift the brush out of the bottle and wipe the polish off one side of the brush. Paint a very thin coat, ensuring there is no polish on the skin or cuticles. Cure for 2 minutes. Repeat with a second coat and cure if desired. Finish with Gel Top Coat and cure.
For the neatest polish application (especially with your non-dominant hand!), grab The Poppy (sold separately) to help stabilize your non-dominant hand. For the best, longest-lasting gel mani results, use the Olive & June Deluxe Gel Mani System (sold separately).

I was looking forward to using this product to save a step in the gel process, as it's advertised as replacing gel base coat. I'm an avid gel user with what I would consider advanced painting skills. This product, however, completely peeled off my nails within 2 days. I did all my normal gel prep (push cuticles, dehydrate the nail plate, light buff, etc). I've read the gel base may be helpful, which is disappointing because I was hoping to take my gel routine from 3 steps down to 2 so that defeats the purpose.

I love the color options that I purchased. They are all light and beautiful. The only thing I have been unhappy about is the top coat even after curing time was so tacky. I eventually had to use alcohol to get it to not be sticky but then it takes the shine off a bit. I love Olive and June products an this is the first time I have not been 100% satisfied.
