Wet brush bristles with warm water. Swirl bristles directly onto soaps surface, working into a lather. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Lay brush flat to dry. After use, lightly rinse the top of the soap. Leave lid off, allowing soap to dry.

Used to be better
I have used this in the past and I'm not sure if they changed the product formula or what when they updated the packaging but this time around, the soap barely foams and is highly scented. It wouldn't clean the brushes fully and left a residue on them. Will be returning to try a different brand now.

I was killing my brushes with harsh detergents that pulled apart the hairs and ruined everything holding the brush together. I spend a lot on my brushes so I was thrilled to find this as its easier to use and is so much gentler on the brush. I was relieved to see how well it cleans but how easily it is to not have to wash the whole brush. Now I can clean them more often and not worry about them falling apart.
Better cleaners out there.
Rarely do I write a negative review but in this case, I felt it necessary. This cleanser is not effective and does not effectively clean your brushes. At all. Tried repeatedly to work up a lather and make this work, but it just doesn't. It also left an oily film on the bristles after rinsing repeatedly.
Clean 4c before brushes were clean
I had to clean mostnof my brushes 3-5x before they were clean. After one cleaning session, I went through 2/3 of the soap. I would not buy again.
Not the best
If your looking for an affordable brush cleaner and don't have too high of hopes, try this one. Not bad, but be prepared to wash and rinse brushes 2+ times to really get them clean. this cleaner also seems to leave a waxy residue on my brushes even after rinsing well. Doesn't have a stong fragrance which is nice.
