Wet brush hairs or sponge, then liberally spray on Brush & Sponge Cleanser. Work cleanser in with your fingers. Rinse until water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water and then blot with paper towel. Lay on a flat surface to air dry.

I wouldn't buy it again
It's my first time trying this product and I was looking for cleaner without using water and dry down time. The fragrance is pleasant and for the size it's a good price. I normally use waterproof makeup cleanser for my face to clean my brushes and sponges with effortless. I thought I would give this a try for a quick and convenient in between applications but it wasn't that good. It took longer to clean and more product comparing to other high end cleaners I've tried. It's definitely not good for removing liquid or cream foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick and even on non long wearing products. Regardless if it was napkins or microfiber cloth, there are still residues no matter how long and hard I tried. I'm not sure if I want to try the soap version next or other brands.
Doesn't work & kinda stinks
Got this to (hopefully) make my brush cleaning process less timely. This product is a joke - the fragrance is overpowering and perfumey, not clean-smelling. Additionally (and more importantly), it doesn't work. It didn't matter how much I used, the brushes did not come clean. The bristles also became weirdly sticky after spraying which made my usual cleaning process not work well either. Don't waste your money.
Okay but wouldn't buy again
I decided to try a spray for cleaning my brushes and makeup sponges this time and it didn't clean much of anything. I feel like I had to spray half the bottle on my sponge and very little makeup came off of the sponge. Learned my lesson and always get a brush shampoo.
I would not buy again due to fragrance
Though the cleaner does work well, the packaging only says "fragrance" is contained. What they don't say is it's lavender. I am highly allergic to lavender and was very sad to find this out. I cannot use this, it should be disclosed what fragrance.

I had never cleaned my brushes before, this product was outstanding in getting the makeup out of them and leaving soft clean brushes. very easy to use
