Most Helpful Positive Review Love This! A year or so ago I had a minor bought of alopecia and my eyelashes and eyebrows were impacted. I never really used anything kn my brows before that but trust me thr no brow look is Not good! I have been using brow pens but not super happy with them. They dont look natural and they rub off so sometimes you go into bathroom and look in mirror and see you only have half an eyebrow.. also not a good look!
Have looked at mirco-blading but it is very expensive and a little scary. What if they do it weird? What if my chemistry makes it change colors? Yikes!
So, I found this a couple days ago and tried it for first time yesterday morning. Fyi I do have some eyebrow hairs now but they are still pretty invisable. So I did a pic of me without and with. (I feel like the ink may have "dyed" my existing eyebrow hairs a bit cause they seem more noticeable today)
So, the eyebrows stayed put all day until I took them off for bed. They look totally natural! (Love) So I am sold . Adding pics of without and with, hope this helps
Most Helpful Critical Review Horrible! I tried this product and was initially in love with it. After wearing it for a few hours I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows had a green tint!!! I had no other makeup on except mascara so I know it wasn't mixing with any other product. I returned the product and switched for a darker color thinking it might have done that because I originally had the cafe kitty which is an ash blonde and sometimes that mixes weird with red hair. Anyway, I tried another shade darker this time and the same freaking thing happened!! I'm so disappointed in this product and it was absolutely awful walking around with green eyebrows, I kept wondering why people were looking at me so strangely. Ugh.

While I love the concept of this product, and the color as well (I bought Blackout btw) I find that the pencil side is too creamy, and pigmented. The ink stain is also too pigmented in my opinion. I have to go in with a super light hand when using both the pencil and marker. I normally do prefer a much creamier pencil, but this one was just too creamy for me. Every time I used it, it was hard for me to not make my eyebrows too bold. And believe me, I would go in with a super light hand!
I probably won't be repurchasing it again for that reason, but other than that I think it's a good product! Also because it's very pigmented, you don't really go through this product that fast - at least that wasn't the case for me. This isn't a bad product at all, just wish that it wasn't too pigmented on both ends.
This is the second time purchasing this 5

I love the double applicator. The color is perfect and matches my hair color. I haven't been this happy with a brow pencil in a VERY Long time.
Great Quality, Wish Color Range Was Better 4

I love brow products. I also love the micro bladed brow look, so I saw this on Ulta.com and came into the store to swatch and try it out. I felt that every color was way too warm toned (looked red). Then the dark brown was literally almost black. I bought Cool Cookie, but the pen looked gray. Which is understandable, it is a medium ash brown. Overall the quality of the pen and pencil side as well as the packaging is chef kiss, (amazing). However, I wish there was some neutral brown colors, because this product was honestly great.
Tried others, but come back to this one 4

Super easy to use. Pen side gives very defined look, to soft microblade look. Pencil is smooth, non- flaky and fills wonderfully.
Love this product 5

This pen is so easy to use and has lasted 3 days on my eyebrows! I have tried almost every brow product on the market and this one is my favorite right now. Perfect for Mama life and always on the go. Well worth the price tag.
Fabulous eyebrows 5

I was needing several things for my eyebrows and an ultra associate demoed for me this amazing product. Number one I needed to cover up fading tattoos which were also the wrong color for my now revealed gray hair. Secondly I needed to fill in many sparse areas. I didn't want to have to take forever doing my eyebrows. After watching a video, this was really pretty easy to apply and get the finish results I desired
Sadly, not impressed 3

I'm not sure what the hype is all about with this brow blade. I had gift certificates to use after Christmas so I'd thought I'd buy a more prestige brand brow product. This is no better than what you can purchase at the drugstore. I expected the pencil side to be a bit more smooth when applying. I'll use it up, but will not repurchase.
Turned green! 2
MMW from Philadelphia
I enjoyed this product for a few weeks and then noticed the color came out of the ink part green!
I didn't realize that until I was out in public.
The pencil part is nothing special but I liked the delicate ink tip that allowed you to make precise thin eyebrow hair like strokes.
This was embarrassing! Fix it Ulta and Urban Decay!
I have two stars for good performance, until it turned my brows a green tinge.
The perfect brow product 5
Missy13 from San Francisco, CA
My favorite brow product ever, hands down. The quality is impeccable, I can create beautiful natural looking brows in a couple of minutes. The brow ink on this pencil is much better than the Benefit brow ink. You can easily create individual hair-like strokes to compliment the micro-pencil on the other end. I have medium brown hair with blonde highlights, and the Taupe Trap color is the perfect complement for my hair color. Urban Decay can be hit or miss, but this product is one of the best things in their entire offering. I hope they never discontinue!
Underrated 5

I'm still pretty new to doing my eyebrows, and I mostly feel like I'm guessing most of the time, but I enjoy this product. I use it to lightly fill in some small gaps. My brows are pretty dark and full naturally, so admittedly there's not much for me to do. Still, I enjoy the thin pencil side, and the pen side is very impressive with how much the lines it can be used to draw resemble hair. The only instance I had a problem with this product was when I applied clear brow gel after using the pen side — the gel ended up smudging and muddying up the ink, so I had to wipe the product off altogether. I don't know if I didn't wait long enough for the ink to dry or what, but that's something to keep in mind. I mostly use the pencil side and I don't always remember to use brow gel, though, so I only experienced that issue one time.

I would honestly be so heartbroken if this product are you ever get discontinued. I've tried many brow pencils from Ulta but none are as smooth and easy to use as the Brow Blade.
This is a must for every redhead 5

I have tried probably 5 or 6 different products for brows for auburn/red heads and none of them compare to how amazing this matches my hair it is perfection.
My favorite Eyebrow pencil 5
Hot Mess Express from Fort Wayne, Indiana
The best part is that it's waterproof! Never smudges and super easy to use. I just wish the twist up portion lasts as long as the stain.
It's kinda perfect 5
ExtraSpicy from VA
This is just a smidge better than NYX Lift 'n Snatch but I would say get it on sale because the pencil is also good. The felt tip is very pointy so you can draw individual hairs easily. Not sure about waterproof claim but it's still intact after wearing all day. I use taupe to get my brows defined but not too stark.
Highly Suggest 5

Love the stain! It fills in my thing spots so well, and the pencil does great hair-like lines. I have never had my brows look so put together!
Amazing but Turned my eyebrows GREEN 3
Emily from Ny
Loved this product! The color was great, the product really stayed on my eyebrows. One time the ink side didn't work because my primer is a little oily. Also, after a few hours the ink turned GREEN. So sad.
Best brow pencil! 5
Shoppers addic! from Arlington, Tx
I bought 5 different colors and never have any issues with the colors turning green like some of the reviewers said, I was hesitates to try out these pencils due to some bad reviews, glad I take a chance and try it, best brow pencil ever and the color won't smear or faded! Definitely will order more when it go on sale!
Embarrassed by green eyebrows!!!! 1

First time using. I was in a hurry and just decided to use the ink side and an hour later my eyebrows were Literally GREEN! I work in a casino with a lot of guests and who knows how many people saw me like that. Returning!!!

I was really excited to try this product. I have thin eyebrows so I needed something to fill them and make them look as natural as possible. My brow routine is to first lightly fill them in with a pencil, then add hair like strokes with a brow pen and finally set with a clear brow gel. I was previously using NYX brow pen but it was inconsistent and half the time I had trouble getting product out. With this having two of the products I use in my routine I was sold. I have nothing bad to say about the pencil. It worked great. The pen just wasn't it for me. It came out extremely runny and would at times it seemed like it was almost leaking. I use a very light hand and it would come out in a watery blob. I got taupe and it was extremely light. I love the concept but the formula is not good. I ended up exchanging for the Anastasia brow pen. It works great but I wish they had a light ash brown. For now it seems that one is the best I'm going to find. Oh why couldn't I just have luscious, thick brows naturally?
Poor quality 1

Expensive and terrible product. I used maybe 4 times and the tip sank not allowing me to use it anymore. What a waste of money.
Why give it 4 when you can give 5?! 5
Whatsittoya from MA
I've been a loyal benefit brow pencil/filler/etc for a couple of years now. Nothing compared in my opinion & I don't often try new things- especially when not needed. However, today, I impulsively switched it up. The way I saw it is, I was paying the same amount for 1/2 of THIS amazing product. It's two sided with more of a purpose... Not two sided with half being product & half being a brow brush (not a dig at it by any means, as we all need a brow brush lol). AND!! Waterproof?!? Say no more. I sweat in a kitchen all day long. Urban decay for the win. I def will be buying again and again!
Love! 5
devinkeira from Cleveland, OH
I have been through so many brow products as a redhead... first of all, the shade is gorgeous! Second, the blade is so nice to flick those few extra hairs in the front of my brow.. most other pens I've tried are WAY too thick. Third, I like a drier pencil because the waxy ones just wipe away, not this. It is set all day! Best brow pencil/pen on the market!
Must Have 5
maddie1678 from pennsylvania
I use this for eyeliner because the felt tip is literally perfect and makes the best wings. I wish they would make regular eyeliners with this same exact tip just with liquid liner in it, but this formula gives a super nice smoky liner look! If you struggle with eyeliner definitely give this a try (yes i know it's for brows). I could never get eyeliner to look good until i gave this a try and i don't think i'll ever use anything else unless this particular tip is made in a liner pen!
neutral Nana much lighter 4
mommyluvof4 from ohio
I enjoy this product a lot however the colors are lighter in person. I bought neutral Nana and it's a very light brown. I need a much darker brown. Next time I'll try dark drapes. I did not notice a color change in a negative way. I really enjoy this pencil and the ink side.
