Compliments
After about a month of using the Tatcha brightening serum, I got compliments from 2 different people. They said my skin was glowing. It made me feel really warm inside because I was being very consistent with this serum and I hadn't had compliments like that in awhile. I am so glad my acne scars are finally fading. I purchased the mini at first and it lasted a little over a month. I have the full size bottle now. You might not enjoy the smell at first but you get used to it. It's definitely NOT a "hot dog" smell, it's just the ferulic acid and you want your vitamin C to smell that way. It's a GOOD thing! It means the serum has a high concentration of raw active ingredients, which in this case, it's exactly what we want-vitamin C & stabilized ferulic acid! A lot of brands will use artificial synthetic fragrances to mask the smell but that only leads to irritation! Give it a go. You will be surprised.
I thought I was crazy over the smell…
I seriously thought I was losing my mind thinking this serum smelled like freakin hot dogs until I saw some other reviews saying it as well. It is so bizarre and it is hard to get past but aside from that, I do like the way this serum feels and makes my skin look. I might just stick with nighttime use only…
No noticeable difference
I used the full bottle and did not see any difference in brightness or dark spots. I didnt find the serum super luxurious and didn't find it to offer any immediate effects either (not particularly hydrating and didn't provide a glow or anything). It didn't cause any breakouts which is a positive.
Luxurious Serum
Love the consistency of this serum, its very moisturizing but not heavy. Perfect for day use. I have acne prone skin and my skin loves it! So happy with my purchase :)
On the fence
I like this serum, but I cant get passed the smell. Literally smells like hot dog water.
