This wasn't what I was expecting
In general, I like Mario Badescu products because they are so mild. This is mild, and I think if you want a clay mask, this is great. I bought it because of the Vitamin C claim. L-ascorbic acid works great on my skin because the pH of my skin is too high. The Vitamin C in here is Tetrahexyldecyl asc...

I recieved this vitamin c mask as part of a birthday present and was hesitant to use due to my skin breaking out so easily. Im glad I tried it though, I use it 1-2 times a week before bed and can count on seeing results by the next morning. Smoother skin, reduced redness and decreased size of breakouts, its like a reverse cream for whatever is causing my skin issues (still unknown). Im 35, use a Byoma face wash beforehand, followed by a Bubble brand moisturizer with fantastic results. Very simple routine that doesnt cost much! Will definitely be ordering my own, since I'm just about out.

I use this as a mask after I steam clean my face and neck. I apply this mask and let dry, then wash off using upward strokes.

In general, I like Mario Badescu products because they are so mild. This is mild, and I think if you want a clay mask, this is great. I bought it because of the Vitamin C claim. L-ascorbic acid works great on my skin because the pH of my skin is too high. The Vitamin C in here is Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate which I guess is a fairly new ingredient. It's a pH of 7 which is different from L-ascorbic acid which has a pH of 3. So, this didn't work on my face. I'm guessing the high pH is also why people with sensitive skin are not reacting to it. For me, with my sensitive, high pH skin, I didn't see a benefit.
