I use hair gel everyday and it's usually the least expensive kind I can find at the store. I was looking forward to using a good name brand product, but this gel leaves my hair feeling sticky and it doesn't seem to dry all the way. I appreciate the opportunity to try this product, but it's just okay...

I used this product both for me and my son. It's a little heavy for him as he has much thinner/finer hair than myself, but it worked great on mine. Good hold, lasted for most of the work day. Didn't make my hair feel crunchy or greasy, washed out very easily in the shower. I would most likely buy this product again.

I was not aware of Redken Brews Holding Gel (Grip Tight) before receiving this sample to review. When opening the tube for the first time, I was greeted with a pleasant smell. To me it seemed like subtle sandalwood and maybe a hint of citronella. Squeezing it into my palm, it was not as thick as I was expecting which is a good thing. Running it through my slightly damp hair, the gel immediately gripped to it. I would buy Redken Brews Holding Gel (Grip Tight) because although it grips tight and lasts the entire day, it doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing a helmet or plaster on my head like other super grip gels do. I would recommend the Redken Brews Holding Gel (Grip Tight) to others because of the pleasant scent, the light weight and the all-day grip.

I'd never heard of Redken Brews before, but I tried out their Grip Tight Holding Gel, and on the very first day I got a compliment on my hair. Not sure what my hair was doing before, but clearly this stuff works.
