For application, you do not need a lot. i have long and thick hair (almost to my buttocks) and i use about four pumps every 3-4 days. it does a good job with absorption and does not leave the hair looking or feeling greasy like some other serums do. however, i feel that it takes a veryyyy long time for it to show results and repair damaged hair.

I'm glad I found this repair serum mist. It's just fabulous. Spray mist on wet or dry hair after shower in the evening and in the morning shampoo and style as needed. Hair looks so much healthier after just a few applications. Smells good and my hair looks amazing.
