Q
Can I use this on just 3-4 small pieces of previously professionally bleached where it's a golden blonde to make it a few shades lighter blonde hair around my face?
Asked by Wendy
Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Yes, you can use the Blonding Brush on a few pre-lightened pieces around your face. It’s designed for subtle, gradual lightening and works well on golden or blonde hair. Since it contains hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice, we recommend doing a strand test first to see how your hair reacts—especially if it’s already processed. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can I use this on natural strawberry red- blonde hair with blonde highlights?
Asked by cc
Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand Engage
Natural red-blonde hair can be more sensitive to lightening and may lift unpredictably, especially over warmer tones. If you're thinking about using the Blonding Brush, we recommend starting with a strand test on a small, hidden section of hair first. This way, you can see how your hair reacts before applying it more broadly. It’s a great way to make sure you’ll love the result before going all in!Was this answer helpful to you

Glad I took a chance!

I was hesitant about purchasing this brush after reading all the negative reviews, but decided to take a chance on it.... so happy I did! This brush worked great for me on the second try. I was unsuccessful the first time and hugely successful the second. Here is what I did wrong on the first round ...

Sun In Lemon Fresh, but with a brush and purple

I pretty much bought this because I already use a lot of dpHUE products and Justin Anderson is an amazing stylist and I'm a fan of Kristin Cavallari. Take the brand and celebrity away, and it's just an expensive bottle of the Sun In we all used to turn our hair orange as kids. Kristin Cavallari's In...

Good product horrible packaging

While the e product works like intended; the brush application and click pen lip gloss style loads too much (for it to hold and dribbles down the side) AND not enough product (to coat an entire strand of hair making reapplication onto the same-ish area appear patchy when done) onto the brush "pen." And it does not really spread the product out well either. It's basically sun in but I would choose sun in because its so much easier than this false "precision."

I have dark blonde hair that used to lighten up in the sun. I don't bake in the sun anymore and this highlighted my hair beautifully using the hair dryer. I love it! Saves lots of money since I can easily do this myself!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I'm shocked this works so well. I've had natural light blonde hair for 41 years, then it started fading. My roots were getting a little darker, a little gray/silver. I want my blonde hair, but im not willing to go to the salon every 6 weeks to keep it up. This product is AMAZING! I brush it into my wet hair, blow dry, and insant highlights. I'm confused about the negative reviews, maybe it doesn't work for everyone, but im a huge fan
