first off, the bottle is very nice & sleek with the black vinyl. i think it was a nice touch to "dress up" the bottle. now on to the fragrance..on my skin, le parfum opens with a powerful coffee accord, followed by white florals and settles with vanilla. i also somewhat smell the original black opiu...

Perfect Scent
This perfume smells so good! I love the vanilla, coffee and floral scent it has. It's amazing! Got it on sale and I do not regret it at all, definitely will be an everyday scent for me. Smelling good & feeling good!

I love this version of Black Opium. Smells like coffee beans, but in a luxurious way. Has some smokiness and vanilla notes going on too. If you like smoky, vanilla, warm coffee fragrances you'll love it!
This smells different than the test sprayer in store
I went to the other big makeup and perfume store to spray this on my wrist, see how it smells, test the longevity. Absolutely fell in love. INTENSE vanilla, light coffee, light flowers. But this bottle just came in and it's not as strong, not getting vanilla almost at all, and it's going away pretty quickly. seems like the batches here are pretty hit or miss unfortunately.

Found my new scent!
I haven't found a good perfume for about 17 years. I'm picky, and I do NOT like floral scents. This does have white flower, but it's more unique of a flower scent, mixed with notes of vanilla and surprisingly, coffee! I had been researching top rated perfumes online, and this came up time and time again. So I bought the travel, in case I didn't care for it. Turns out I'll be buying the large bottle here soon! A new signature fragrance after all these years!
