It's gentle but don't expect it to be the end-all be-all
Used for almost 3 months 1-2x daily on its own, applied straight to face with clean fingers, and I haven't found it to be the most effective product as a stand-alone. It's great at being a very gentle product and helps clear pores a little bit, but I think my skin type/personal brand of acne benefit...

I have seen great results! I've only been using the product for a week and I'm in love with it.

I've only been using this for about two weeks (rating reflected or would have given a 5 star). I've never been one to suffer from acne but have always had a blackhead issue since I can remember. Since using this twice a day for a few weeks, I can already tell a difference!!! Can't wait to see what my fave looks like after I finish this bottle. Will definitely be purchasing again!!!!! I also have sensitive skin and this product has not irritated my skin once by using it.
cleared my fungal acne!
with all bha products, it does take around 2-4 weeks to see results. i had really bad fungal acne, but this cleared it. would highly recommend if the paula's choice bha didn't work for you or if you have fungal acne.

I have struggled with small bumps on my forehead for the longest time and I saw this product was recommended for "fungal acne" and I heard it's safe for sensitive skin. I followed the exact instructions but woke up with small bumps all over my face aka irritation. so I stopped using it and my skin went back to normal and just recently I decided to give it another try knowing it irritated my skin and ....same thing. if anyone is struggling with congested pores and has sensitive skin I highly recommend you try Shiseido senka perfect whip (blue one) with kose softymo deep cleansing oil. These two items cleared up my skin and gave me a healthy glow without irritation.
